Ganapati Studios celebrates color and fun with a playful visual mix of cultures and decades.
Our line of greeting cards, journals, magnets, and bags are created using elements from our collection of vintage paper ephemera. We love antique paper and we love the art of collage; it gives us the chance to play with fantastic old paper goods, coloring and rearranging them according to our contemporary sensibilities. We (Phil Brazeau and Sarah Brazeau) both have backgrounds in painting and enjoy the immediacy of the collage process.
Ganapati World Headquarters is located in the scenic neighborhood of Wallingmont (actually the convergence of the Wallingford and Fremont areas) in Seattle. We make a conscious effort to conserve resources and we produce almost all our goods in the local area,to create as little environmental impact as possible. We're also committed to donating 10% of our profits to groups that focus on making the world community a better place. Please check out the Causes We Support page to see a list of these remarkable groups.
The name Ganapati is one of the names of the elephant-faced deity Ganesha, who signifies wisdom and good fortune, and is known as the remover of obstacles. May He bestow His blessings on the world and smooth the path of all your endeavors. Om Maha Ganesh!
